Dagult Neverember

Dagult Neverember is the Open Lord of Waterdeep and declared himself "Lord Protector" of Neverwinter in 1469 DR, Year of Splendors Burning. While certainly not the richest, Neverember is by far the most politically and economically influential person in The Sword Coast, perhaps in the entirety of Faerûn. Neverember arrived in Neverwinter accompanied by a fleet of sailing ships and a massive caravan train bringing much needed supplies and coin to support the population of the city as well as to finance reconstruction efforts. Notably, he also brought a considerable private army of Mintarn mercenaries to provide safety and security to the city streets.
