The Party finds out from Sister of Tymora, Garaele Xil'oama, that Iarno "Glasstaff" Albrek had indeed arrived two months prior and immediately began investigating the activities of The Redbrands. He was last seen entering the vicinity of Tresendar Manor, where The Redbrands are headquartered.
The Party learns that Sildar Hallwinter is a knight in The Lords' Alliance and was sent to Phandalin to investigate the whereabouts of Iarno "Glasstaff" Albrek. The Lords' Alliance originally the novice agent, Iarno to bring law and order to the burgeoning community. The Alliance has an interest in supporting the development of Phandalin to encourage trade in The Sword Coast North and to prepare the town for eventual membership. Sildar Hallwinter asks The Party if they could help him investigate what happened to Iarno.
