Erynn Haldwynn was brooding at the Stonehill Inn while the Party's conversation with him, but she has downtime conversation with Daran Edermath.
Vala Silverton told Daran to speak with her. He is a retired adventurer who worked most of his life for the Order of the Gauntlet along the Dragon Coast, far to the east. He knew about your mother and her work in the Order and had much respect for her, but never met her.
He'd want to speak with Erynn to discuss stories he'd heard of Kasha and to wish Erynn condolences.
He'd also tell Erynn that he doesn't entirely trust the new members of the Party.
And he wants Erynn to keep an eye on them and an on Vala and Orthanc, to make sure they're safe.
He gives Erynn a blank silver token that reveals the crest of the Order of the Gauntlet on it whenever a consecrated member handles it.Erynn Haldwyn:
Got it. I will watch over them. I think Erynn would leap at the opportunity to be knightly in any other way than what her patron expects her to be.
Daran Edermath:
Daran tells her to take the token to the Protector's Enclave in Neverwinter and place it in the donation box at the Hall of Justice, the temple to Tyr. An agent of the Order of the Gauntlet will then make contact with her.
Erynn Haldwyn:
Okay.
Daran Edermath:
He also tells her that he is normally not type to quickly place trust in a stranger. He believes that nothing but the "right hand of the Maimed God" could have placed the daughter of Kasha Haldwynn in front of him at this particular time and place, so he feels it is a sign from Tyr that Erynn is trustworthy.
Erynn Haldwyn:
I will vow to keep Vala and Orthanc safe.
