The Greenrose were granted land in the region of Ranger's Retreat based on their service to Queen Eostra in the early days. The ancestors of this line all pursued the path of Rangers and were vassal to House Verenfield, who were the first "GreenHands" of Ringthorn. While the Verenfield's moved west, the Greenrose family stayed in the area.
Several of the line still follow the old ways (either Ranger or Druid) and don't really consider themselves noble at all. There is no specific Greenrose keep, but many of the folk in this region bear the last name.
