It's a land of many kingdoms, for years at peace, now descending into conflict as beasts under the earth awaken to claim their moment in history. 

Here you will find the once shining city of Glimring, Capital city to the Edelrend, recovering from a brutal scourge of draconic attacks. The Kingdoms held together by a frail thread of unity between multiple races, fighting to push back the darkness that ever wishes to consume this world. 

And you'll also find humanity at its center, families struggling for power to keep their own houses alive; The Houses of Bellsweight, Hawksblood, Swansbreath, Boarheart, Hammerflung, Bowsprit, and Lightstrung all seeking their place in this new world. And beneath them, the minor families of Kinstain, Markand, Gambridge, Lowencamp, Verenfield, Cloudwell, Maresworth and Oren all looking for their chance. 

But it's not just a kingdom of petty squabbles. Here too are the shires, towns, villages and thorps teeming with the good folk who wish only to live their lives and pursue their dreams.
