A family name mired in controversy, the Kinstains were allegedly the first to hold the infamous Blackblade of Llolth. Rumor has it an ancestor freed it from a tomb causing great suffering to come to the kingdom, thus they were indentured to Herras' relatives to guard the tombs. A task until just recently, they were beholden to. They held the title through House Hawksblood, but have broken faith with them having quarreled for over a century.
They are violent and capable fighters having originally defended the Black Hold from vampires; these old allegiances to Suthers puts them in the perfect position to elevate their clan under the Lord High Commander.
