This territory covers Briarwood and the strip of land from the Kingsroad West to the Sister mountains, including KingsGreen and a few miles beyond Mudwattle. Originally divided into three counties, comprising of the two forests and the land between. From west to east they were called Greentree, Kingstone, and Huntsbane County.
No longer under the eye of the Kingsguard, there are a number of lower nobles that hold some power along its outer edges and are now trying to consolidate it. Lord Evenil Bailthorn (a half-elf) holds the title as Protector of the Briarwood and garrisons a number of Elvish and half-elven troops in the wood. Of course, the roads are still patrolled and sponsored by the nobility of Glimring and at any given moment you may a group of bannermen loyal to one of the noble houses.
The Kingsgreen however is managed by an elder centaur clan (Stonehoofs) and they act as the enforcers of the law. Unsure as to how to handle the new Lord High Commander, they are wary and wait to see what happens in Glimring. They are currently in a feud with the men of nearby Rambley, due to some petty thievery.
The newly reformed town of Union is included in the Northland.
