From Riversbend up to Union, and East to the Kingsroad South, this shire includes Siltbridge and the swamps of the Ilkmire. It includes the Fox Grove, former home to Lord Hastin Boarheart and Lady Nunnia Foxglove (of PLAINFIELD). In addition, the shire is broken into two counties, Hunterswell being the majority of Fox Grove and Riverswall to the west. (These counties represent the older divisions of the lands)
A mix of incredibly quiet farming communities and the tumultuous swamps of Ilkmire, this has been a difficult district to manage. Its former magistrate was Brannid Bowsprit of Longbridge, but since his death in the war for Union, a new leader has arisen... Rosco Twiddletoe. This charismatic halfling revolutionary leader originally pledged his forces to the remaining governing body in Glimring, prior to the populist take over. Now he quietly waits and hopes not to engage the forces of the new army.
The mayor of Riversbend, Shalia Trueknot, supports leadership and has pledged to assist in the cleaning up of the Ilkmire territory.
