Bordering the western edge of the Blighthollows and extending to the village of Rambley, the duties of this shire fall to the Lord of Doomhold (Currently, Sir Brennid Gambridge), whose men patrol along the Barrowfast, a wall spanning some 30 miles as a bulwark against the undead roaming the Blighthollows. This shire is a mix of hills and savage plains. While the wall is primarily maintained by a specially trained force of men and dwarves, the duties outside the wall fall to Gambridge’s men. He holds a force of some 40 horsemen and about 100 troops, well-armed and armored.
It's along the Barrowfast that one can find Dwarven Darkpowder, which stokes the magic of cannons and firearms. These weapons are exclusive to Dwarves, require immense training to operate, and no one has yet to duplicate its properties outside of Dwarven forges beneath the earth.
Though outside his territories (and technically belonging to the Elves of the Eldwyd, he occasionally provides aid to those of Pikesford when they request it.
