Drawing a line south from the Ilkmire to Crowden and following along the Ravenshearth Forest to Ryeturn, then following the northern edge of Widow’s Lake, following the Good Road north again to the White Hills and following the Shallowrun defines this borders of this shire.
Formerly under the watchful eye of a noble in Clatterton, their power has been usurped by the Lord Hastin Boarheart and Lady Nunnia Foxglove (a human couple) whose keep was overrun and destroyed in the run-up to the assault on Glimring. They have vowed to ally the noble knights in the district in times of need.
There are a collection of groves in the east of the shire managed by a circle of druid known as the Faithful Five and there are several sacred sites under the protection of the Lord and Lady.
