The bulk of this district to the south contains the Ravenshearth Forest and is managed by Its protector is the Lady Verenfield of Greyfinger (Hesca Boneraven) with her keep at Greyfinger Tower providing the border between this shire and the Westhold. She is a druid of some repute and inherited the land when her father, Durrada, wished to be closer to the Glimring court. She often takes apprentices from Crowden and that particular settlement is very well versed in the druidic arts.
In the past, those traveling along the Crow’s Road have been provided very little protection from her forces and have oft been assaulted by capricious fey. But given recent events, she’s had enlisted members of her circle to patrol and ensure safe passage.
