End Port is a massive station orbiting a young star located Wrist-wards from the Soul-system. When Humans discovered Skim-Sign they used it to contact the ancient Voyager probe a century or so after the destruction of Earth, while the ancient probe could not respond to the signal, that times Humans where able to triangulate the probes position and did send a manned pre-skim Ship equipped with a Sign array towards the destination the Voyager was located. They found the Voyager caught in the gravitational pull of lone star lacking any other stellar bodies.
The sign Array was placed in the same orbit as the ancient probe, the system ultimately became the first contact point for humanity's first meeting with sentient alien life as the Golden Disk was found to be removed from the probe by the .
The array slowly grew into a large space habitat and trade port and neutral ground between interstellar factions. Following the End the station was renamed End Port and it still receive traffic, as refugees often arrive in The Last Hand trough End Port and Coreseeker expeditions are launched from here, often following Skim-Sing messages that have arrived from outside the Hand, those daring explorers come back with cargo holds full of alien artifacts, coordinates to mineral rich or habited planets or most commonly: they don't return at all.
