The Three Sisters Forest is a woodland region than covers nearly all of the Outlands, stretching from the Norest River in the south to the Ytri River to the north. It covers the eastern foothills of the Spine of the North before coming to an end by the shores of the Sjóhval Sea. The settlements of Niðujall and Trélönd are found within it.
The Three Sisters get their name for a couple of reasons, with one being the simple fact that the woodlands are divided into three major patches. The other reason stems from the Tale of Three Sisters, which is an old folk tale about three sisters who were said to have lived there. Today, the forest provides for the Outlands' small logging industry.
