Kellar Zanweiss, often called Father Zanweiss, is a Fectern Priest and the keeper of the Fectern Temple of Reedenford. Kellar is a kindhearted old man, perhaps slightly absent minded by his age. Regardless, his is a respected voice in the town, and many of the residents rely on his abilities as a cleric to aid them in times of turmoil.
Description
Kellar is an elderly human man with kind blue eyes and thinning grey hair. He stands tall and is generally robed in the vestments of his faith.
Kellar is a kindhearted man, though his truest loyalties lie in his faith. Though he asks a price for the services his temple provides, he may choose to waive fees for those in great need or poverty.
Skills and Abilities
Kellar is a practiced priest and cleric of Fectovarano. He is able to call forth the miracles of his god to heal others of injury and disease. He has shown the ability to preserve the bodies of the dead from rot, and is a passable coroner, capable of performing a modest autopsy.
History
Father Zanweiss arrived in Reedenford sometime around Iron 947, assigned to the area by the Church of Fectovarano. H Before this, he received training at some of the crander temples in the Kalhastian Empire. His time in Reedenford has led his to become a respected voice in the community.
Father Zanweiss assisted in the investigation of the murder of Dunavar Lexhand, preserving the body and performing an autopsy, discovering no lingering evidence of poison or injury beyond a damaged liver. Zanweiss was tricked into giving up some of Dunavar's possessions by Lambchop, under the guise of returning it to Dunavar's next-of-kin.
