Gresely Missim is a rabid-looking gnome cleric of Ruyebef that works with his twin brother Gruggly Missim as well as the goliath Arghan Highmaker Athuniano. He is a strange, hyperactive gnome with a scrunched face, but his odd personality disguising his unrelenting loyalty and passion. His magic shines a dull grey, and smells slightly of ash.
History
Greselyy, alongside his twin brother Gruggly, was born in a small gnomish settlement in the outskirts of the Eldermoon Federation. Born into poverty, Gresely had barely been alive for a year before his family was taken by disease, leaving only him and his brother alive. Somehow, the brothers managed to survive, making up a strange language to communicate in, a distant abomination of gnomish.
Gruggly and Gresely became rather familiar with death, especially cases caused by diseased. Frustrated that their loved ones were continually taken from them, the twins sought the guidance of the gods, and were answered by Ruyebef, who granted them the power to heal.
Gresely and his brother Gruggly joined forces with Arghan Highmaker Athuniano as the goliath passed through the Federation, latching onto him for his strength. The three built up a connection over time, and eventually continued onwards from Fusalis, seeking mercenary work along the way.
In 951 IaC, Gresely was present when Arghan took up a contract to kill the Peas from the rogue Mardyth the Shade. Gresely assisted Arghan in combat against the Peas outside of the city of Vardev after setting up an ambush, of sorts. However, Gresely was defeated and taken to the Bandry Keep by Captain Harten, where he resisted questioning by the Peas and the Thurimbane, instead chattering incessantly in his odd version of gnomish.
When the Bandry Keep was later destroyed at the hands of Abrax, Gresely escaped his capture and continued to pursue the Peas alongside Arghan and his brother. Gresely later encountered the Peas again outside the walls of Caedalir. He "attacked" the party, mostly spending his time healing his brother and Arghan. After running out of spells, Gresely wandered around aimlessly and eventually crawled onto Journey's back, slowing her down.
When Arghan was killed by the blast of a giant explosive, Gresely produced a large diamond and pleaded alongside his brother to Phaelnah Ellarian in order to have her resurrect the goliath. Phaelnah did so using the power of the Nightblight. Gresely hugged the cleric after she successfully brought back Arghan, and walked off into the forest holding one of the hands of the giant man alongside his brother.
Gresely would continue to pursue the Peas alongside Arghan, tracking them to the Tomb of Zelvass and healing his allies in the Battle of Five. After Mardyth's defeat, Gresely sat around despondently, waiting for orders from Arghan. When Arghan was hired by the Peas, Gresely ventured out with him, healing the goliath as he pulverized the undead attacking the wall of Madrioc.
Gresely accompanied Arghan and Gruggly to the Isles of Wrath when they were summoned by the Peas to assist in the Battle for the Sun. Gresely rode on Arghan's shoulders as he swam through the ocean, eventually being left at the shore of Slaghead Island, healing the defeated fighters. Moving out to the Night Bridge, Gresely continued to offer his abilities to the fight and was nearly killed by a creature of Jylurm, but was saved by his brother who sacrificed himself in his stead. Angered and saddened, Gresely took his first life in combat then, killing a creature of the sea with his bare hands.
Gresely was recognized as a hero in the city of Madrioc, with his name placed on a plaque alongside the others that fought in the Battle for the Sun. Gresely refused to let his brother lie dead, continually preserving Gruggly's body with his clerical powers.
