- The Peas, still at the party they threw at the Ceon'tir Bastion, continued to speak with Selathwin Muleyr regarding a "power-up" using the ley lines
- Elaborating on the topic, Selathwin explained that the first leg of the process would be venturing into the Isles of Wrath in order to discover the Temple of the Earth, where an ancient map existed, detailing the most ancient and powerufl ley lines running through the world
- Selathwin spoke to the inebriated group at length regarding the specifics, but they picked very little up
- Using data Selathwin wished to collect at specific points around the world, she hoped to craft a ritual that would safely allow the group to absorb the ley energy
- As Selathwin took her leave, she asked the group to gather some information about the Isles of Wrath from the soldiers of the Bastion
- Selathwin also introduced some individuals she had teleported with her, Leidren Mefkat and Kalkot Effintuff.
- To Phaelnah's delight, Selathwin had also brought along Father Falis from Hymathel, as he had attained power from the ley lines as well.
- The group finished their time at the party, albeit somewhat uncomfortably as Father Falis began to give lectures regarding the merits of Fectovarano
Ancine 17th, 951
- Seamus uncovered an old map of the Isles of Wrath made by the Vigilant Dragon from back when they used to conduct expeditions of the area, and translated it into Common
- Leaving their valuables in a vault in the Bastion, the group headed through the Roomy Chest in order to make some preparations in Madrioc
- Town criers revealed that the majority of the forces that went out into the Marches would be returning on the 18th
- The party headed to Roil and Boiler's and were informed that all the potions and ingredients for potions had been bought up, but that some might get sold back to the shop once the soldiers returned from the Marches
- Avelos the Learned was still out from his shop
- Visiting Vinn's Wares, the party found Vinn Vinnfeck working on a new pressure-powered wrist weapon

- The group traveled to the Mercenaries Guild headquarters, meeting with the bountry keeper
- The dwarf keeping the records, who the group learned was named Dengis Barrelhole, informed the group about the information collected regarding the Nightseeker
- The Nightseeker had been spotted in a multitude of locations around the Moors, accompanied by an army of shadows and stealing the shadows of civilians
- Outside the Moors, she had been spotted in Falderheim, Sanaris, Pallam, Astrilane, the Kalhastian Empire, the Sufessian Dominion, the kingdom of Irdagost in Free Lands, Wolkaea, Dograd Hegrin, Caldenvald, and likely more areas that didn't have the resources to communicate on a worldwide scale
- While little information could be weaned regarding her current whereabouts, she appeared to prefer striking unguarded settlements
- Journey ventured into town to buy books for the library with Baranoc
- Phaelnah spent the rest of the night communing, scrying, and gathering information
- Communing with her god, Phaelnah learns that the shadows of the Nightseeker do not return to their hosts when defeated, Inglis was not being manipulated by the Shadowfell, and
- Her attempt to scry on the Nightseeker failed, but she managed to scry on Yoxxel though she was unsure if it was the real one
- Phaelnah spoke to Ryla Mulaweyrn, who she learned was in hiding, searching for Yoxxel herself
- Wander eventually returned with the starburst amulet, mysteriously refusing to offer any details about how her procured it

- Phaelnah failed to scry on Valx and then attempted to scry on Eilon Terix, but Lefty noticed the scrying beacon and informed Eilon about it
- Eilon ceased his work and calmly spoke to Phaelnah's censor, informing her that he would find out who she was, prompting Phaelnah to end the spell prematurely
- In communing with Aeltra, the party learned that it was possible for Leadbelly Balnar to be restored without the Nightseeker's cooperation, that Eilon was not directly responsible for the destruction of Tyerjon's clutch, and that Eilon facilitated the trade of the clutch to attain his bodyguards
- Tyerjon practiced the bagpipes, and started getting pretty good

- Making it through the calm waters of the Pass of Safety, the group began to pass the Cauldon of Ivory, the southern peninsula of Tearfell Isle
- Skeletons began to spring forth from the earth and cliffside, hurling skulls and sharp bones at the party
- The Peas held up a vigilant guard, but Tyerjon's shield was pierced by one of the bones, though he remained unharmed
- A party member in one of the other boat was pierced in the head by a bone, falling into the sea, which greedily gobbled him up
- The group eventually made it far enough away from the cliffside, and they receded into the earth
- In Mae's Crashway, the Peas had trouble fighting against the strange currents of the water, and eventually fell behind the others as a thick fog began to roll in
- The sky began to darken, and eventually a shadowy figure appeared before the boat, blocking the way and telling the party to return
- Phaelnah attempted to see through the illusion, but was unable to as the group decided to slow down as the sea became completely silent
- The group discovered another boat heading the opposite direction that seemed confused and hungry
- Tyerjon attempted to throw him a ration, but it landed in the sea as a little man in the water attempted to coax the dragonborn in
- The other boatman's mouth and eyes began to spill over with water as the boat slowly sank into the ocean
- Discerning that the shadow was likely created by the Nightseeker, the group began to flounder on what to do, eventually engaging the shadow in battle as Leidren used her onomancy to twist the shadow's name into "show", revealing a large number of shadows and Phaelnah attempted to Turn Undead to no avail

- Leidren used her strange magic to turn shadow to "ow" make Phaelnah "alpha", and "haste" the Peas.
- With the group finishing off the shadows that took heavy damage as they entered Phaelnah's Spirit Guardians, the shadows began to fall quickly
- Wander eventually spotted a set of larger shadows approaching from the back, one of them looking suspiciously like Balnar
- One of the shadows managed to grab hold of Journey's shadow, and began to pull it away
- The party quickly took care of the stronger shadows, but the one shaped like Balnar escaped
- Wander realized non-magical attacks did nothing to the shadows as he attacked with his bow and Matilda
- The Peas continued onwards, opting to take a rest as the boat approached the Toepull

- Phaelnah dispelled an illusion that made other appear to say and do the opposite of what they were actually saying and doing
- As the boats passed by the bottom of Floril Isle, harpoons attached to steel-enforced ropes flew from the treeline atop the island cliffs
- One of the hooks landed in the Peas' boat, but couldn't cut through the steel rope with conventional methods
- Leadbelly threw some of his powder on the rope as Phaelnah cast produce flame, with Tyerjon cutting through the chain
- A person on another boat was harpooned in the chest and pulled up the cliffside
- Another boat was harpooned and pulled up the cliff, one person jumping ship and getting swallowed up by the sea as three people were pulled with the boat into the trees (RIP Fire Shoulders)

- Night came again
- Tyerjon and Phaelnah took watch
- The boats were caught in a strange wind that lulled them to sleep, and pulled towards a rock by a siren's song
