Verdon Looseth

This character is dead.
The Constrictor

Verdon Looseth was a human contortionist and wrestler that hailed from the Spellsong Wastes of eastern Atavar. Verdon gained most of his notoriety from his time spent with the Lucent Hand. Verdon was an odd man that enjoyed making others feel uncomfortable, but was good at heart. He was slain in the Battle for the Sun.

Description

Verdon was a frail, sickly looking man that constantly wore a large, toothless grin. He had long, lanky, and wrinkly arms and legs that emerged from his simple jute-woven clothes. Verdon's loose skin was covered in a lifetime's accumulation of tattoos, all of which appeared to depict a story.

Verdon was very peculiar in nature, and enjoyed pushing others out of their comfort zone. Despite his odd disposition, Verdon was surprisingly loyal and helpful to his team. He enjoyed telling stories, and used his tattoos to remember the numerous tales he had crafted.

History

Verdon joined up with the Lucent Hand in Iron 948 after meeting the group in Astrilane, prior to which he was working in a traveling circus.

Verdon worked with the party during their travels across Gessaria, proving his salt as a con-man and a fall-guy for schemes gone wrong. Verdon's unique abilities allowed him to change his face at will, as well as easily escape shackles and slip through prison bars.

In Iron 951, Verdon participated in the the 329th Mad King's Tournament along with the rest of the Lucent Hand, losing out in the wrestling round to the legendary smith Leadbelly Fargus. His party later took 2nd place at the event.

Verdon volunteered his services during the battle against Zahast, wandering deep out into the treacherous Nightspell Marches to erect a beacon at the behest of Renbedar Uleshan.

Verdon also participated in the Battle for the Sun, where he helped form the rearguard against the attacking forces of Jylurm. He was slain during the defense of the central fort, but his corpse was rescued by the demigod Shalde. The surviving members of the Lucent Hand laid his body to rest just outside Madrioc, alongside his other team members, Tolsen Keflo and Jurndrek Owlridge.
