Before the Rebirth (OOTA)
“I ask of you all, where did the first sin form? Not in the hearts of devils, or demons, or even angels! It sparked in the soul of man.” - Tempesta Ficheadseacdain-Bhallieomallach, High Priestess of the Bhallieomallach Church
Fenrir Dulock was a wizard born out of poverty. Through intense study and adventures with the Psion Ommin and the Warlock Hez, he developed both a mastery of chronurgy and a hatred for the world. Fenrir determined, quite foolishly, the only way to save it would be to remake it. Taking advantage of the demonic outburst in the Underdark, he tricked the party that became the New Gods into letting him resummon all of the defeated demon lords, scorching Faerun in demonic madness and killing the New Gods. Eventually, the New Gods were resurrected and put together an army to take Fenrir down. It was discovered that the Mad Wizard had taken over a layer of the Abyss.
Splitting himself into five variants, he confronted the party, but was annihilated by their superior power. In a desperate grasp of survival, one of his variants managed to open a portal to the fall future, which saved him from a disintegration from Uachadaran Bhalieomach. Even though the Prime Fenrir met his doom at the edge of the universe, there was still much in store for this variant.
Discovered afterwards, Prime Fenrir’s plan was to utilize a dark force the New Gods deemed “Ezuri” to destroy the world, leaving himself intact to build a new one.
After the Rebirth (TOD)
“Ice-ta La Vista, baby!” - Fenrir Variant 4, moments before trying to kill a winged dragon with terminal velocity.
Fenrir Dulock Variant 4, from now forward referred to as Fenrir, awoke in a reality distinctly new from his own. Stripped of his magic, he wandered aimlessly until he found himself in the town of Silverymoon, where he relearned basic magic under an irrelevant mentor. Eventually, Fenrir left Silverymoon and ventured, meeting the rest of the soon-to-be Metallic Wyrmspeakers in Greenest. After killing a green dragon, they formed an adventuring party called the Five Guys, where they quelled the Cult of the Dragon. Eventually, this hunt spiraled into The War of Dragons, leading to each member of the Five Guys to enter the ring of destiny and emerge victorious. After stopping Severin Silrajin, the Chromatic Wyrmspeakers, and sending Tiamat back to the Nine Hells, the Five Guys slowly went their separate ways.
Time as a Wyrmspeaker (WOD)
“What makes a person “good”?” “If they tried with all their heart, that is enough.” - Fenrir and Fizban, at the edge of existence.
Around this time, the New Gods rediscovered Fenrir’s existence in their new world. After hunting him down, they found that through the Gold Dragonmask, Bahamut already laid claim to Fenrir’s soul. Unwilling to enrage the King of Dragons, they let Fenrir live under the condition he does not engage with anything similar to “Ezuri,” at all costs.
In 1495, Fenrir was briefly summoned by the Hype Squad as a last resort. At this point, Severin had already been unleashed in Waterdeep, but in order to undo a wicked family’s bargain, the Hype Squad needed a divine presence to bind two children’s souls. And so, closing a story he had no knowledge of, Fenrir saved the young Cassalanters, before swiftly departing to find Severin. What fate has left in store for him now is a mystery. To all but me, of course.
