A great hall used by for public functions by the Palace Stewards. The stewards hold their own annual feasts there each year known as the Serving of the Servants, and sometimes hold receptions for members of the court within its spacious walls.
On a raised platform half way up the wall far from the double doored main entrance is a statue of an elderly man. It is said to be Gormard, the palace's first steward. It is said that toward the end of his life the emperor had a powerful stone tongue whisperer encase him in stone and had him placed in the hall as a 'reward' and as recognition for his service. Whether he desired this form of elevation is unknown. At the Serving of the Servants the stewards all toast the statue of their founder.
