Previous Episode: Voyage of the Cursed Dawn - S01 E08
In the tense aftermath of last session, the Red Knights toward Rasa Arziki, Red Flint and Emberglow. Rasa quickly disguised himself with illusion magic, taking on the appearance of a sickly, hunched-over man. Emberglow vanished into invisibility, and Flint used Misty Step to teleport directly in front of the pirate captain—only for the man to begin singing a self-glorifying sea shanty, introducing himself as Captain Long John Silver. As soon as the song ended, Silver disappeared without a trace. Meanwhile, the Red Knights confronted Butters P. Nutts, beginning the process of arresting him. Emberglow responded by casting banishment on one of the knights, removing them from the field temporarily. Juulia Troski, blending magic and mischief, disguised herself as the banished knight to cause further confusion.
As the situation grew more chaotic, Rasa saw his opportunity. He cast charm person on the Red Knight carrying the Piece of Eight, convincing him to lead the group to Farrock. The charmed knight complied, and the rest of the adventurers used the distraction to sneak past the guards still blocking the southern path.
