Previous Episode: Voyage of the Cursed Dawn - S01 E09
Continuing south toward the trade hub city of Farrock, Rasa Arziki maintained his magical charm over the undead Red Knight, Edward North. Over the course of a few days of travel, Rasa extracted critical information: the Red Knights were resurrected by Long John Silver, who himself is an ancient being. Their mission is to find the seven Pieces of Eight, which are needed to power the Atlas, a legendary map that reveals the route to the mysterious New Lands. Meanwhile, the rest of the group snuck past the military blockade out of Saltwind. Following the trail of the Red Knights, they eventually caught up to Rasa and his traveling party at a remote tavern.
Butters P. Nutts attempted to integrate into the conversation with the Red Knights, but was brushed off. Emberglow snuck into the kitchen invisibly, only to accidentally extinguish the stove fires and retreat. However, a familiar face soon brought light to Butters’ evening—Valys Macadamia, daughter of nut magnate Selenar Macadamia, was also at the tavern. The two rekindled their connection and agreed to travel together to Farrock. Elsewhere, Juulia Troski and Davkas Grosko met Lord Harlow, a wealthy fruit merchant on his way to Farrock as well. With new merchant connections and a safe night’s rest, the group prepared to depart with their allies at dawn.
