Previous Episode: Voyage of the Cursed Dawn - S02 E02
The Cursed Dawn arrived at Crooky Port, a strange merchant island run by a bizarre family all named variations of Crooky Crooky, Fooky, Dooky, etc. The crew browsed their wares and sold off crates of loot. Butters P. Nutts, true to form, tried to steal the island’s protection stone, triggering its magical defenses. He was blasted into the sea and surrounded by sharks. Rasa Arziki parted the water to rescue him, revealing a mysterious trident on the sea floor. Red Flint dove in and claimed the trident just before Rasa lost concentration, thanks to Butters tickling him mid-cast, causing the water to crash down on Flint. However, the trident granted him water-shaping powers, allowing him to walk out in a sphere of air. In response to his antics, the crew punished Butters by keelhauling him. He survived, but barely. After regrouping, the party shared a meal and had a deeper conversation about their pasts and future plans. The calm didn’t last long. Bryan Ryker suddenly burst onto the deck in panic, warning that they were being pursued by the Shadow Shroom, the dangerous thieves’ guild from Davkas’s past.
