Rimedrift

RimeDrift: A town just south of Solophric, surrounded by giant, lush fields of corn and grain, it lies within a large, open plain sparsely populated by trees, a perfect area for farmland with nutrient-rich soil

The town was founded by Gregory Minks Minks, it was originally built as a colony of the world government. It was positioned further inland to avoid direct invasion by water, requiring invading forces to traverse land before arriving at the town. There are still old barracks of world government forces in the town, though they've been converted to communal homes for field workers and large warehouses for storage of perishable goods.

2000-2400 Inhabitants — give or take 200-256 Buildings, Large warehouses that use magical artifacts to assist in storing transporting, or moving large stacks of crates or storage containing goods.

There is no Guildhall. There are inns for merchants or guild representatives within the outskirts of the town.

Originally the town had a large wall constructed around it in preparation for a possible war in the past, this was an unneeded measure as the remnants of the world government took over and established rule.

Over time these walls collapsed due to a lack of maintenance and protests from citizens of the town, still, much of the wall is intact with several large sections of it missing due to intentional deconstruction or natural collapse due to lack of maintenance.

Tech Level: Standard fantasy tech, Medieval with some advanced tech like aqueducts.
Farming, somewhat magical automated irrigation for farms. More magical artifacts that support the town.

Unique Aspects: There are giant Fields of crops that span a large portion of the south. Much of the town's inhabitants work on agriculture either innovating new techniques, collecting, or other occupations that support agriculture.

This town makes most of its profit off of trading crops, grains, and other perishable goods. The economy is booming as this town supplies most of the continent/island's crop needs, it directly trades crops and goods to Solphric. What it can't trade to Solphric it pawns off to guilds, traveling merchants, or Southgate. It's quite a well-known town in the local region as its produce is often sold to surrounding islands by Southgate.

The economy of This town is unaffected by the rising tensions, as it is a main supplier of farmable goods in the area, the tension and possible conflict haven't increased or decreased the demand for perishable goods.

This town has an isolationist nature, preferring to keep to themselves for most matters and means of production; they produce their food and most goods by themselves. However, they often purchase ore in bulk from Solophic to craft their tools or maintain their machinery/structures.

This Town is a Regional Agriculture Center; it theoretically can cripple nearby settlements by placing heavy tariffs or outright refusing trade with them.
