The Mernelian Empire, ᛗᛖᚱᚾᛖᛚᛖᛏ ᚷᚱᚨᚴᛏᚢᚢᛚ (Mernelet Graktuul) in Dwarvish, was a major empire in western Yekare. The Empire was founded by Datula the Conqueror, who had long had ambitions of uniting the dwarvish city states in the Mernel Mountains and expanding outwards to seek glory. The Empire was united through blood, iron, and brutality. The most notable conquest of Datula was that of the ancient city of Nemish. Datula sacked the city and forced the Pharaoh to swear an oath of allegiance.
Like many nations on Yekare, Mernel was conquered during the Pelegonic Conquest and incorporated into Pelegon.
