Lord Datula I Merryaxe The Conqueror

Datula Merryaxe, called Datula the Conqueror, was the founder and only ruler of Mernel. Her Empire was a briefly lived flash in the history of Yekare, growing to be the largest nation on the continent but suffering from poor administration and internal decay. It was believed that Datula's force of character was the only thing holding the Empire together. Her realm was conquered by Pelegon I during the Pelegonic Conquest and Datula was killed in battle against the Pelegonic forces. Pelegon I and subsequent Shahanshahs would claim the title "Lord of the Mountains and Fields" as part of the Imperial Titulary.
