D'yi, also called the Lord of the First Flame, or the Dragonsire, is the El Shaddai who mothered the ancient dragons. She and Her dragons ruled the primordial world before their usupration by Bouwen and Beldkind during the War of Foundation. Her order was one of stagnancy and alignment with the primordial Abyss. As a last ditch effort, She unleashed fearsome firestorms over the World in an attempt to stop the Beldkind. However, Her fire was stolen by Apollyon and Jielong, who turned it against Her and Her children.
