Zafaris Tanatir, often called Zafaris Pelegon, is the widow of Shahanshah Cordos I. She was a common girl and tavern bard from Kardunash who met the prince while he was traveling the world, the two very quickly falling in love. The two were married against the wishes of the majority of the Imperial court, creating chaos within the Imperial Family and cementing Cordos as the black sheep of his family. Additionally, her status as a Tiefling and her bearing of a Tiefling daughter has led to considerable distrust from the family. 

Appearance and Character

Like most Kardunashi, Zafaris had white hair. Her eyes were also white, a less common Kardunashi Eye Color. She was regarded as a great beauty, with her physical beauty amplified, and some said outshone, by her wit and intelligence. She was a master of many instruments, but preferred and was best at the Kardunashi Tall Lute, which was nearly as tall as her. She was known to fill the Imperial Palace with beautiful Karduanshi songs which made many weep.
