The Med'ny (Ba'hramic for "Settlers") are the landed natives of the Ba'hram Desert. They are contrasted with the Badawi who live nomadically. The Med'ny live in permanent settlements, most notably the city of Manzil Jabal. They are a free-spirited and individualistic people, usually organizing their settlements into republics.
The Med'ny also place a great emphasis on unions of love. Political and arranged marriages are considered deeply taboo in Med'ny society, something which has caused issues since the incorporation of most Med'ny lands into Pelegon.
For reasons unknown, people of the Ba’hram, both Med’ny and Badawi, have a much higher instance of blue eyes compared to the general populace.
The lands of the Med'ny, save for Manzil Jabal, were peacefully brought into the Empire under the reign of Adrastus II.
