Centered around the city of Nemish, the Nemishite Empire was one of the most powerful forces in the ancient world. It called itself Dasurkat, though historians refer to the period of imperial rule as the “Nemishite Empire” to distinguish it from the modern Dasurkat.
It is important to note that the term "Nemishite Empire" is a purely historigraphical term referring to the period in which the Pharaohs of Nemish had succeeded in subjugating all of the other Nemishite-speaking kingdoms in the region now called Dasurkat and then began to expand outwards. Before this point, there had been several Nemishite-speaking kingdoms in the region. The Empire waxed and waned in power and territory through its history, but it entered a period of immense decline following the assassination of Sekhaenbeld V and the civil wars which followed.

Zotneferu II concluded the campaigns of expansion against the neighboring Nemishite-speaking kingdoms by subjugating the Pharwads of Wad-wamunt, the final major power to stand against Nemishite hegemony
Under Sirdahorush I, also called Sirdahorush-an ("Sirdahorush the Magnificent"), the Nemishite Empire expanded to west coast of Yekare
The assassination of Sekhaenbeld V led to a period of civil war and dynastic conflict which led to the secession of most of the conquered territories of the Empire
