The Kingdom of Y'kanos is a province of Pelegon. The Kingdom is culturally distinct from the Empire, inhabited primarily by Fey and far more loyal to Kampi and Si'ita than to Odion. However, the natural danger of the forest and the skirmishing tactics of the Y'kanosi, the Empire has been forced to tolerate their unique customs and technically heretical beliefs, for now.
Y'kanos was conquered by the Empire after a ruinous war, only submitting to avoid a full-scale genocide of their people. Nonetheless, the people of Y'kanos are very independent-minded and unrest is common amongst the clans of the forest. Though they may have taken the trappings of feudal houses, the days of the Kingdom of the Y'kanos are looked upon fondly by the Y'kanosi and many desire to return to the old ways.
