House Rochis of the Pillars (pronounced “Roh-kees”) is a noble house sworn to House Adrastos. They are lords of the city of Canithi, ruling it from a gargantuan castle called the Pillars. Members of House Rochis have strong Kardunashi ancestry, with white hair and Golden Eyes.
The Rochisi are among the most ancient and distinguished of the Kaduir houses, and are one of House Adrastos’s strongest bannermen, capable of fielding a larger army and navy than their liege lords.
Of all of the old Kardunashi-descended dynasties of the Kaduir lands, House Rochis is perhaps the proudest. Even today, they maintain Kardunashi customs and dress. This, and their immense wealth, has led House Rochis to gain a reputation for immense pride, immense ego, and even a degree of smugness.
