Izabel Rochis was a daughter of Lady Tanytha Rochis the Shahanshah-consort of Vidorion I.

Vidorion married Izabel during Vidorion's War. Two of Izabel’s brothers were amongst the most powerful people in the Arcazon. Her eldest brother, Lord Alabar, led House Rochis while her youngest brother, Magos, served as Lord Regent to the infant Queen Adriana I, effectively putting him in command of the entire kingdom. In return for their support, Vidorion wed Izabel. 

Though their marriage was one of politics and not love, the two grew to have a strong friendship and partnership. As Shahanshah-consort, Izabel became known for her wise counsel and frequent acts of charity. One of Arcanopolis’ thirteen districts, Izabel's Town, is named for her.
