Izovan Rochis was a son of Lady Tanytha Rochis the Shahanshah-consort of Vidoria I.

Vidoria married Izovan during Vidoria’s War. Two of Izovan’s brothers were amongst the most powerful people in the Arcazon. His eldest brother, Lord Alabar, led House Rochis while his youngest brother, Magos, served as Lord Regent to the infant Queen Adriana I, effectively putting him in command of the entire kingdom. In return for their support, Vidoria wed Izovan.

Though their marriage was one of politics and not love, the two grew to have a strong friendship and partnership. As Shahanshah-consort, Izovan became known for his wise counsel and frequent acts of charity. One of Arcanopolis’ thirteen districts, Izovan’s Town, is named for him.
