The Battle of the Rushwater was a major early battle in Abba's War.
Upon hearing of the slaughter of her sister and niece, Lady Meredith Mannos flew into a red rage and mustered her levies at the Old Castle to march south on Arcanopolis and depose the usurper Abba I. She was met near the Rushwater by a force of levies from Houses Arcanos and Qomqay led by Lord Marlyn Arcanos and slain in the ensuing battle. Her second, Sir Qarena Restwell, led the survivors back to the Old Castle, where the young Lord Morzican Mannos would spend much of Abba's War under siege.
