The Clearing of the Sweet Isle was a conflict fought by the newly raised Lord Karthyl Ugaros to reclaim the Sweet Isle for the first time since the ritual conducted by Lady Unknown resulted in the island's destruction.
In the hopes of gaining Lord Karthyl's hand in marriage, many houses provided assistance to his efforts to reclaim the island. In the songs, these lords were known as the lords suitor.
