The Falcons were a faction in the court of Shahanshah Oderion II who supported the reign of Oderion II. They were opposed by the Peacocks.
The faction was also named for the great chain of office depicting a Pelegonic falcon that Oderion II wore (which he had inherited from previous Shahanshahs dating all the way back to Pelegon I himself). With the Shahanshah's blessing, his favorites began to wear silver replicas of his golden chain.
