As I will be the writer of the Dawn Heralds' endeavors, I believe it is best to introduce myself to any future readers of my texts.
I have been given the name Zegerius Artek. I was born in Excelsis, where I joined the Collegiate Arcane at a young age. Unfortunately, the skill of harnessing the winds of magic was not my destiny. Instead, I showed to have great technical skill in the arcane tools that the colleges rely on. I seem to have a knack for handling Hyshian Lenses, Glimmerling shards, and the orbs atop the Hurricana. This together with my habit of record keeping, and the surprising usefull tool of not getting in a wizard's way, have made me a wanted assistant by the mages in Ghur.
When the Dawnbringer Crusades were launched, I also took up the Coin Malleus. Anything seemed better then to stay in a city wrecked by two insurrections and one of the most violent sieges of this age. After months of hardship and narrow escapes, I felt happy to be again in the service of a city as I entered Torvil. And yet, fate has shown to have other plans, for here I am once again on the move. I can only hope that I can this time retain a quiet but safe position within the safety of Sigmar's cities.
