Krager Shrapnel, or Captain Shrapnel to you, is a rough and tough Minotaur of unknown origins who commands a ragtag pirate crew on his ship "the Riddle of Lightning." He docked his ship (totally legally) in Meletis where he met the Destined, and offered them a job where they would act as protection while he ferried an expensive artifact, now known to be a Kraken Seal which the Cult of Ke’Kauhale was after. After this artifact was stolen by Archimedes and his followers, Captain Shrapnel took the Destined to the mysterious island of Arixmethes in the Dakra Isles where Ke’Kauhale is located.
He was taken, along with others in the Crew of the Riddle of Lightning, to Archimedes by the Cult of Ke’Kauhale.
Oriz contacted him through a Dream spell, where Shrapnel seemed to have a muddled mind but was able to convey that he and his crew were kidnapped by the cult and are being held somewhere within.
He was rescued from Archimedes' clutches by The Destined. The last he was seen, he was still the captain of the Riddle of Lightning.
