Events

The Band with the help from Saburou were able to defeat Mark Andino and his goons. He was interrogated, as well as his second in command, Thomas Wilford, and discovered that Mark Andino has some vampiric powers, but not a full fledged vampire. Thomas is a mortal human, but enhanced by some powerful drug. Mark Andino didn't betrayed the Red Hand, and the Band killed him, severing his head from his body. Thomas, on the other hand, said they were planning in killing a bunch of people in many places, trying to make some bullshit ritual with an ally of Andino, Mary Dullen, a priestess. She is at the Bukingham Fountain, at the Loop.

Kanako was investigating about the Red Hand with the Tsukikage, and discovered they were one of the responsible for the gang wars in the city. She convinces the Tsukikage to help them attack one of the places where the Red Hand is making the ritual. The Band can't be at four places at once, so they will try to stop Mary Dullen, and create a task force to stop the ritual in the three other locations. They send the Tsukikage to the Schoenhofen Pyramid Mausoleum, Saburou to The McGuaine Cemetery, and Tanny went with the Golden Snake to Northerly Island stop the ritual there. The Band entered in contact again with Wellington Reis to help them deal with the rituals.

The Band joins Wellington in the Bukingham Fountain. They see chaos everywhere, some of the people in the streets seemed to be hypnotized by the cultists from the Red Hand, as they started killing the people around the place. The other cultists were performing the ritual, with Mary Dullen in their center, book on hand. The Band fights the cultists to the death, most of them becoming wounded. Mary Dullen proved to be quite a powerful magic wielder, but the Band defeated her, but not without she concluding the ritual. Yes, they didn't got here in time.

Wellington says there is an alternative, they can lend him the book to change the ritual a little bit and not summon the Eternal Night. Alexander, and the rest of the Band not believing in his intentions started fighting him, but they were defeated. Wellington got seriously wounded, but gathered sufficient energy to change the magical ritual to summon a dragon instead. This ritual shakes the supernatural energies of the Ley Lines, and makes the mythical and supernatural presence in the world powerful. Wellington disappears in the shadows of the city.

The Band, feeling beaten, returned to Marquis of Carabás to reflect upon what has happened. Alexander goes to his master, and Kanako goes back to the Moon Temple to give the Codex Draco Rubrum to the Tsukikage, and avoid it fall into wrong hands. During this time, all members of the Band receive their Visitations and awaken their Scion blood.

Balthasar, as he was going to enter the Marquis of Carabás, is approached by a man wearing a Santa Claus costume, with one scarred eye, and a bag of gifts talks to him saying he is smart, and has been chosen by Wotan (Odin) to walk in his footsteps. He also says that next mourning he will receive a gift in his apartment. After this strange encounter, Balthasar, Naion, and Dexter enters the pub and see two men sitting at a table, drinking and playing cards. One has black hair, and the other has red hair, but both have eyes that shine with intensity like a flame. They explain they are Ares, and Loki, and although the Band had some trouble, they did well. Now the gods need their help. Ares lift the curse on Dexter, and explains he was chosen because of his bravery, and now will work for him as his soldier. Loki gives a large briefcase to Naion and says he needs help with some important errands. The two men left the Marquis without answering any questions.

Alexander goes to his master and see his father, Huangdi drinking tea. His father says that Alexander is destined to great deeds, and the World needs someone to be the ambassador of the gods. He strongly feels that Alexander is the one up to the task. Huangdi is forging some alliances and will need Alexander to help him with that. The Titans are getting bolder and more violent, they need to be stopped.

Kanako receives a Visitation from her real father, Tsukiyomi, granting her the title of Moon Priestess, and saying he needs her help with protecting humanity and the World from titanspawn. A new war is coming, and she needs to become stronger and find her inner peace. He says she will need to travel the world to practice and learn more about the mythical and its occult knowledge.

The Band will soon discover that the World will change fast with the new coming of mythical powers that were dormant for a long time. A new war loons on the horizon, and they are important pieces on a mythic chessboard of Gods and Titans...
