Lorelei was, for much of her life, content with the comforts of home. A self-described bookworm, she could often be found with her nose buried in a book, studying subjects that happened to catch her interest or simply enjoying the quiet of her own library. She took particular pleasure in making food from fresh vegetables grown in her garden, and could easily spend an afternoon in her favourite armchair with a good book and nowhere else she needed to be. Much of her time was spent in the company of her closest friend, Alaric, and she was more than happy with a quiet life surrounded by the things and people she cared about.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, Lorelei has found herself far from the comforts of home and in a situation she never intended to be in. More accustomed to quiet days spent at home than the dangers and unpredictability of adventuring, she has had little choice but to adapt to a life considerably different from the one she once knew.
Lorelei is generally a cheerful and friendly person, with a genuine curiosity about the people and world around her. She has a tendency to become attached to those she considers friends, often treating them with a degree of warmth and familiarity that may seem surprising to those who have only recently met her. Despite being somewhat naive and having much to learn about how the world truly works, Lorelei tries to remain true to herself and the principles she has always held. She is reluctant to harm those who have done her no wrong and tends to believe that there is good in everyone, often looking for a reason behind a person's actions rather than simply considering them evil. The world may continue to challenge her understanding of people and morality, but Lorelei has no intention of allowing it to change who she is.
Lorelei has a tendency to forget people's exact names, often resulting in her calling them something vaguely similar, yet somehow very far off.
