Raima's Diary

Campaign

The party arrive in Bryn Shander and head to the best Inn in town, The Northlook. The Inn is busy, so the individuals sit together, in the only available space. The party get to talking and discover that all of them are looking for work. A local bunty hunter, Hlin Trollbane hires the group (Cold-Hearted Killer) to search for a killer. That evening, the group is attacked by a group of bandits, after Rogan Helstorm.

The following morning, they are asked by a group of dwarves (Foaming Mugs) to find their cart of iron. They decide to do this first and head out. They are caught in a blizzard, but make it to the ambush site to find the sled is missing. Following these tracks, the party find a bunch of goblins pulling the sled away. A short while later, the goblins are all dead. The party hook up their polar bears to the sled and bring the cart home, much to the Dwarves' joy.

The party moves on to Targus. Asking around the town, a Town Guard tells them that at the last lottery, he swore that he saw the human shipbuilder's name drawn before another was reselected. In the The Three Flags Sailing, Ma tells the party about a Goliath that can turn himself into a Polar Bear (Oyaminartok). An adventuring party went to Kelvin's Caern to hunt him. As they eat their lunch there, a dog appears and takes the party to its master, who asks the party to go to Caer-Konig, to save his husband, Garrett ( Mountain Climb). The party head that way, spending the night at Caer-Dineval. They attempt to stay the night at the closed down Inn, but die there to Duergar. They are brought back to life by the Knights of the Black Swords, awaking in the Caer; the party are given the North Eastern Tower.

The party continues its journey to Caer-Konig. There they meet the town speaker who charges them with a quest to find the reason why their items are going missing. The party head into the mountain to search for the items and for the missing Garrett and his party. Whilst searching, they find a keep manned by Duergar, which they slay. Unfortunately the adventurers also get hurt by zombie infected type creatures.

The party move on to basecamp at Kelvin's Cairn to find the broken down sled and five dogs of the people they are searching for. They travel up the mountain, finding Garett and the cave. They rest on top of the mountain before trying to attempt the cave. The party fight mummy yeti and daddy yeti, leaving the baby yeti alone in its cave.

After hearing rumours around Ten Towns, the party head to Bremen to research the lake monster that is attacking the people of Bremen on the lake. They experience a Plesiosaurus on the lake, which is quite nice and they convince it to stop attacking the fishermen.

After this, they go to Lonelywood, searching for The White Moose. They search the forests for three of days, finding the moose in the ruins of an Elven ruin. They kill the moose unceremoniously. The party investigate the ruin to find that it is a tomb. A few things happen here: they free an undead creature that is sworn to protect them, called Sahnar. And they fight a druid called Ravisin, who's sister was killed by someone in the Ten Towns. They also free an awakened shrub that grows good berries every day (2d20), who agrees to go with the party. Its name is Blueberry. The party discover that the murderer is at Dougan's Hole.

The party head to Termalaine, where they receive a quest to kill the kobolds in the gem mine who have taken control of it (A Beautiful Mine). They first drop their stuff off the Inn, where the barmaid (the daughter of the owner) takes their stuff. The party notice that she wears a ring around her neck that emits conjuration magic, with a story behind it - an old lady being chased and eventually killed by a wind creature in front of an inn full of people. Her father is also very ill and she is looking for a healer. Perhaps they can help her one day. They head to the mine where they indeed find kobolds, and rats. They also fight a grell besides a pit to the Underdark. They try to convince the last of the kobolds to leave, but Razeesh kills it when they discover that it is full of lies.

The party go to East Haven, to the White Lady Inn where they take room and board, and are invited to a seance. They then travel to the White Trout to search for clues and rumours. There, the party meet Scython, the local blabbermouth and ex-captain of the ferry. In the city, the captain of the guard tries to get the party to go out onto the lake to find some fishermen that have gone missing (Toil and Trouble). The party go to the ferry to investigate, where they find a map marked "sunblight" near the mountains, near the telepathic signal. They encounter a Duergar there who, after a scuffle manages to get away.

The next morning, the party head out and find the boat on the ice. They follow footprints into a cave system where they encounter two harpies, a water elemental and a giant undead skeleton. They also negotiate with a Lake Hag to let her go for her magical cauldron and the chest from under the lake (to do with the White Lady story). They return to Easthaven. There they discover that the cauldron can feed 400 people per day. They trade the Cauldron of Plenty with the City of EastHaven, but we have to wait 2 days in the city for the gems.

Two days later, the party go to the town hall to discover that the cauldron has been stolen (The Cauldron Caper). In that time, Raima looses the bag that has cursed her.
