Razeesh "Ankle Biter" and her companions followed the deep tracks left by the sled, heavy with all the metal, soon caught up with their prey. The mighty shaman Rogan Helstorm looked through the eyes of his mystical hawk Echo's eyes to scout ahead, and found a cowardly warband of goblin's. Too cowardly to hunt their own quarry they instead scavenged what the Yeti had discarded.
The goblins, weak and cowardly, fled when they saw Razeesh "Ankle Biter" and her band of heroes. Raima and Razeesh charged ahead to bring the fight to the green bellies while Rogan and Rock attacked from afar. Razeesh "Ankle Biter" and companions, being so strong, quickly drove off the goblins guarding the sled of metal. However, it turned out that most of the warband was further ahead, travelling in a really big cart being pulled by two polar bears. While there were more of them, the companions axes, staff, and magiks were too much for the weak goblins. Though in their escape they set their large cart on fire, so that we couldn't recover anything else they'd taken.
With the goblins dealt with the companions were left with a problem. Night was setting in, and sleeping outside in the Icewind Dales was a good way to die even if you're as strong as Razeesh "Ankle Biter". Bryn Shander was close enough to return too before the frosts set in, but the metal was heavy. Raima decided to try and make the polar bears pull the metal sled, Razeesh "Ankle Biter" expected her to lose an arm but the beasts must have sensed her strength and we got them to pull the heavy sled. Then the companions were on their way back to town, making good speed thanks to the tamed beasts.
On our their return to Bryn Shander we let our tamed beasts loose to return to their own lairs, after Razeesh "Ankle Biter" rewarded them with goblin meat she'd saved for them. They pulled the sled the rest of the way to the Blackiron Blades, where the Dwarves were happy to see we'd reclaimed their goods. Among the payment was a blood gemstone for each member of the companions, which caught Razeesh's eye.
