[ Previously: Isk Ralgr's First Day at Sea ]

Landfall on Rosemore Island, Bureaucracy 15th, 3466.

Fae Wight was steering the ship Isk Relgr deep in the late night of a storm. While they could withstand the rain and cold gales through the blessings of Caduceus, being awake for 72 hours takes its toll on a pilot. The impact on the southern beach of Rosemore Island was sudden, but nobody was horrifically injured in the process, nor was the boat damaged.

Kr'af quickly recalled the boat, and the party made their way uphill. First contact on the island was with a group of Llamas, some of which had a blue wool, and oozed of a weird substance (Blue Wrath (disease)). With some minor injuries, the party made for a small cliffside clearing, and summoned the boat to rest in, in the meantime.

The next day, the party decided to start exploring the island. Seeing as they were on a southern coast, they started to head Eastward. Along the way, the party met with various animals with different levels of horrible infection, most notably some Axe Beaks and some small dinosaurs.

However, they were not the only ones on Rosemore Island.

The Stone Golem was not far off. It spotted the group as they traveled eastward, and come in to provide some percussive critique. One extremely difficult encounter, with Stone Golem Core from it.

The party took some time to recover from the horrific encounter, and started to notice some of the mental health of the party began to decline. Irritability sprung up amongst the members, and even Kr'af was suffering from a problematic headache. It got so bad that Kr'af had a psychotic break, and the party needed to stop their travels temporarily.

On the southeastern-most point of the island, a swampland was encountered with some particular horrific trees. Cleis Frostclaw almost lost his life. Soon after, the party encountered coastline winding northwards, and thus they continued to explore around the perimeter.

After 6 or so days, the party heard their first voice while in the middle of an ambush between a bunch of llamas and a tiger. Offshore, on a rock just above from incredibly problematic sand-lizards, Sheldon Raga was rescued by the party and informed us of that she had been on the island for nearly half a year now, after The Former Wreck of The Discovery had crash-landed on the north-western point of the island. She mentioned a mountain-camp she set up with the other survivors, and mentioned a terrible "stone man" that had been hunting them. Worries quelled by the tale of defeating such a monster, the party headed westward to the Mountainside Camp

Another bit of travel and ambush from more of the local fauna, the party discovered that there was a sort of hunter on the north-eastern part of the island. When you hear it in the night, it tends to leave a lot of meat on its kills, so start looking for the leftover corpse and you may have a good source of food.

At the mountaincamp, it was overrun by mountain goats - diseased and non-diseased. Even the youngest of the goats was infected. The party successfully cleared it out. Sheldon and Kr'af decided to stay there and work on setting up camp while the party looked for the remaining survivors: Zayn Moore and Malystin.

At the Old Camp on Rosemore Island, Zayn was hiding at his base camp and tried to run from the party. But as the party approached, a group of infected Leshys came by. The party dispacted them, and Byrd was able to catch up with Zayn and get him to stop running away so much.

The party rested at the camp with some tea time with Zayn. During this time, they learned about the travel of The Former Wreck of The Discovery to the island and it's untimely demise at the hands of The Stone Golem. We also bore witness to part of Zayn's outfit: He has the insignia of The Slowcart Foundation. He appears to have been a "Trader" for the business, and doesn't seem to like working with ruffians.

We returned to the mountain camp, along the way, there were more Leshy. This time, they were operating as a group, and merged into a massive flytrap that almost devoured Byrd.

Back at the camp, the party reconvened and decided it would be best to head towards The Deadly Cave, where Zayn and the rest of the Discovery broke through a wall with "help" from The Stone Golem, and a fog that was similarly colored to Blue Wrath (disease) poured out. While resting for the night, the party was assaulted by a swarm of "Undead" Deer - while corpses in their own right, some of them were being manipulated by some Parasitic Clockwork Bugs. Standing close to woodsworth, his healing channels were able to push back the horde, and the party took care of some of the clockwork bugs.

Everyone then summarily decided that, if they didn't want to get off the island before, they certainly want to now.

Westward it was, towards The Deadly Cave. After a bit of travel, the terrain dipped into a large valley with an opaque blue fog covering it. The party went in deeper, and discovered even more fun undead things. After only half a day's worth of travel through this zone, the party was attacked enough times by things they both cannot see and can barely damage, that we rushed to get the hell out of there.

Wandering in the fog, Xael was following a vision: Find the cutest white floof of bunny hidden by blue mists. Xael was quite excited upon finding the group, and joined up to make their way back to the Camp Apparently Being Hunted By Leshys, which upon discussing the Collapse of Udrodzid, it was discovered that Xael was searching for the supposed dragon that crushed that city. Just outside, the party heard some commotion - Xael, blurred with the joy of combat, got his Falchion ready and stepped outside to greet them.
