(Previously: Landfall at Rosemore Island )

a few days before Bureaucracy 37, 3466:

Xael had a vision of a white bunny hidden in a blue mist. This brought him to Woodsworth Moure and Caduceus, and the remainder of the party, in the deep fog just two days west of Mountainside Camp. Upon meeting the group, the great wolf mentioned a The Red Dragon that they were hunting for, and that the rabbit would be a perfect guide to get him there.

Woodsworth was a little less convinced. But nonetheless, another slab of beef to add to the party's repertoire, he would be sure to use his magic to get this tattoo'd wolf some answers.

They headed the The Old Camp, where the party found Zayn Moore. After some chatter, more Blue Wrath (disease) Leshys appeared. It didn't take long for the party to take them out and find a new place to rest. On the way back to the Mountainside Camp, the party encountered a predator that has been tailing Xael: an Owlbear

Deciding to not deal with any nonsense, the party made their way back to the mountain camp. Xael was introduced to Kr'af and Sheldon Raga, and with a tremendous feat of strength, was able to test his plan to traverse the water through throwing the boat. Taking some time to rest at camp, during Woodsworth's shift the first night, he was suddenly gashed in the stomach by a massive spiked whip. Malystin, afflicted heavily with the Blue Wrath, had made their way to the camp and took off half of Woodsworth's health.

The bunny shouted, sending Caduceus off to wake Cleis Frostclaw. In turn, Fae Wight and Bird Face were woken up and rushed over to help. Malystin kept ignoring the people near him, and continued to run right up at Woodsworth. Despite Sanctuaries, Distracting starry skies, and a low AC, Woodsworth was knocked over by the kobold. Byrd went full-bird, and knocked the heck out of Malystin. Xael was so fed up with them, that he threw the kobold while they were unconscious, much to Sheldon's dismay.

Woodsworth laid dying, but fortunately rolled well enough on a saving throw and was able to recover in time. The party took some time trying to perform first aid on him, with Fae and Byrd primarily caretaking for him. When he awoke and healed himself, Woodsworth took some time to contemplate and rest.

Bureaucracy 37th, 3466:

Woodsworth awoke with a horrible headache, and evoked he newfound powers of the idol. With a white purifying flame at each of his fingertime, he slowly pet his own face, removing the Blue Wrath headaches from him. Caduceus, still infected and exhausted, was overjoyed and excited at our newfound abilities. He headed in to Malystin and blessed the area with a grey light - allowing the powers of the Idol to manifest easier. Another swipe of white-fired-hand over the infected Malystin, and the Blue Wrath was subdued.

With all ship members back at the camp, we can now work on getting off of this Island. To the remains of The Discovery!

A few days traveled northward, the fog extended closer and closer to the shores. To get to the boat's remains, the party would have to either cut through the thick, blue fog. Or, head north to a congregation of Leshys. The group decided northward, that dealing with the Leshys would be the least problematic.

After nearly dying to these horribly infected creatures, they pushed along the coast until they met eyes with the remaining campsite just beyond the broken ship: The Former Wreck of The Discovery
