Acastus Arkelander is King of Mytros and a direct descendant of Estor Arkelander. He is married to Vallus, Goddess of Wisdom and Queen of Mytros.
Acastus has recently formed an order of New Dragonlords, consisting of a number of his trusted Knights and 6 copper dragons. His own silver dragon, Icarus, heads this new order with him.
Some time ago, Acastus had a relationship with Pandora, the Nymph of Mytros Bay whom he claims is was the love of his life. Xanthia Ornis (Arkelander) is a product of this relationship: though they only met for the first time during the Great Games, with her mother having been exiled from Mytros while pregnant.
His mother, named Idylla Arkelander, was also exiled to the same island but the reason is so far unknown. Despite being sent away by her son, she holds power on the small island.
