Encountered: 01 - 17 - Voidherald Arc Pt. 2, in Sandstone Canyons
A well-dressed elderly kobold of an unknown clan found alone at the edge of the Canyon leading to the Truthwatcher dome. Kept repeating the word 'No' in various tones, which seemed to be the only word of common he spoke. Made gestures seeming to indicate that someone smaller than him had gone into the canyon, saying 'Buttwaz, Buttwaz' and pointing down. Didn't seem hostile to PCs, saying 'kill no' or some sort of meaning behind nodding, throat-cutting gesture, and nodding again while repeating 'No no no' before walking off alone into the hills to the north. Likely hard of hearing given how he completely missed the PCs approach but otherwise spry. Turned down an offer to share food pointing to his own pouches.
Was seen again in the library below Aelmor Monestary near the Truthwatcher Dome. Was with a 2nd Kobold, his friend the Shaman & Scholar Heleste, who cast tongues to speak with the PCs. We learned Mee'apo was trying to rescue his daughter Buttwaz & the rest of their tribe who had gone into the 'rifts below' 2 weeks previously. While Heleste uses his magic to try to figure out a way to deal with the mutations Mee'apo went to try to find others to help, hiring the Assassin Sanzuun to find his daughter (who instead attacked the PCs)
Was out walking by himself down the trails north of the dome a few days later, Waxillium cast Tongues to speak to Mee'apo who said he was off looking for anyone else who could help his tribe, didn't seem too concerned about wandering the desert alone? He pointed the party in the direction of Mini-Oasis the abode of the now-deceased Kobold Assasin Sanzuun.
From tracks seen recently matching, it is believed Mee'apo has ventured into the Truthwatcher dome.
