The Voiceless Desert is a region located between the Grassblade Mountains and Heaven's Reach. It is home to three prominent city-states, Ufrana, Prasit, and Deshela.

Many stories surround this desert. It is believed by most that the desert is home to multiple Pervasive Zones, but no extensive documentation has been published.

Travelers often go missing in the desert. The circumstances surrounding these disappearances cannot be known, as anyone who lost companions in such a manner was not present for the event that took them.

Perhaps related is the phenomenon for which the desert is named. A few travelers have warned those that would enter the desert to be wary of a sudden silence. A time when the wind goes still, when even your own breath cannot be heard — that is the time to either flee or drop to the sand and pray. Death follows, unseen.
