DEMONS IN THE STREETS, CURFEW CONTINUES

Límíng City

The Límíng Chronicle

10th Roshan, 4139

Límíng citizens remain in a state of fear as the demonic incursion persists. Last night, 9th Roshan, Topside resident Gao Jiahao was slaughtered by demons. Yu Clan shikarists arrived on scene and successfully slew Gao Jiahao’s attackers. They were unable to administer healing agents before he succumbed to his wounds.

Shikarist Yu Yimu, in a verbal report, described these demons as a severe threat to civilian lives. The conditions of Gao Jiahao’s death have been redacted from public record out of respect for his memory and his surviving family.

The latest order from the Yu Clan remains in place: all citizens are required to begin making their way indoors at sunset, and are to remain in place until dawn. Special exceptions can be filed to obtain an organized escort by city guard accompanied by an attending shikarist.

To support this need, the Yu Clan has summoned gentry sects into the city. Among them include the Leishemen sect and the Hanmubang sect. Yu Clan and gentry sect shikarists will be increasing daily patrols between the three districts of Límíng.

In this state of chaos, many of Límíng’s citizens have questioned why Liutubang is not among the gentry sects protecting the city. Young Master Yu Huang provided an answer during last night’s news broadcast:

“Liutubang volunteered to join an excursion out to the Northern Wastes,” Young Master Yu stated. “They are seeking information that will empower our campaign to eliminate this demonic threat.”

At this moment, there is no word with regards to when Liutubang is expected back in Límíng City.

In addition to the curfew, the Yu Clan has provided further guidelines for staying safe at this time:

  • Travel in groups, the larger the better.
  • Avoid being alone outdoors.
  • Use the main roads for commuting.
  • Plan to leave before sundown. Give yourself a cushion of time.
  • Report strange or suspicious activity

An attending shikarist will also be posted at all guard stations throughout Límíng. Citizens are encouraged to report all concerns of demonic sightings or activity and wait for further instruction from the Yu Clan.

For further information regarding the ongoing crisis, citizens can reach Yu Clan representatives via send- station or walk-in…
