A large city located in Visdria, it is built upon an old dwarven outpost overlooking the Estarin, just west of the Broken Crag. Much of its centre is composed of old dwarven buildings, built out of a shiny charcoal-black stone, it is from here that its name originated. It is one of the two major gateways through which Visdria's grain travels north and west. Due to its proximity to The Forge it is well known for its dwarven produce.
