- After a large battle, the group finally defeats the monster containing baby Walter. Pulling him free, the baby turns to a small set of bones. Seeing this, the group takes his bones, as well as the bones of Rose, Thorn, Gustav Durst, and the nursemaid Margaret to the crypts to be laid to rest. They also cremate Lugosi and take his collar.
- Walking through the house, they see that the entire estate seems to have aged at least 100 years. Outside, they find the Durst Family, who thanks them before disappearing down the road into the Mists. Before leaving, the group is given a tip to check the woods in front of the estate for their gear.
- The party is able to find some of their gear, but not before being attacked by a large pack of wolves.
