- The party got their first dose of safe rest at the Blue Water Inn and upon awakening, met the colorful carnival ringleader and traveler, Rictavio. He regaled anyone willing to listen with stories about odd people and creatures he had met on his travels to build a circus. He said that he ended up in the Mists and was left with only his monkey Piccolo which he gave to the toy-maker Blinsky, and another ferocious beast sure to fright and delight. Furthermore, he explained his goal of finding more oddities to add to his act while traveling Barovia.
- The party spoke further with Danika and Urwin Martikov about their delayed wine shipment. Danika expressed that her husband and his father weren't exactly on speaking terms, but he would eventually find out what was happening. Urwin's father Davian Martikov owns The Wineryand Urwin's brothers Adrian and Elvir usually help make the deliveries.
- Ashen asked the group if he could tag along for a little on his way Westward to Krezk in search of some temple. He informed Kirin that if he was able to gain any info on Master Tsun, they would kill him together. After a brief chat over breakfast, the party finally left the town of Vallaki.
- At the stone bridge crossing the Glades River just to the West of town, the group found a carnival flyer for an upcoming "final show", in which Caleb quickly burned.
- Continuing down the road, the group heard a distant sad and slow music that sounded similar to music played at the last Vistani camp. The group ignored this and continued onward towards Argynvost Keep.
- The party then crossed paths with an undead, armored soldier who had recently killed a Dire Wolf on the trail. A group of large wolves then surrounded the party before being slayed with the help of the paladin. After Kirin engaged in combat with what ended up being a Paladin of The Silver Order, the group had to work to prove they were not in league with Strahd von Zarovich. With Wagner's help, the party was able to talk this Revenant down. After showing interest in defeating Strahd, she invited the group to try to convince her current leader of The Silver Order, Sir Vladimir Horngaard, for help in the party's noble cause. The Silver Order will not go to war against Strahd without Vladamir's order. She finally warned the group that many of her fellow members are filled with hatred and vengeance. So much so that it may be difficult for them to determine friend from foe.
- With another few hours of travel behind them, the party stood in front of a once great Keep in partial ruin. Wagner used his Silver Order patch to unlock the front doors. As the group began to explore the hold, a large, hairy, reaching Spider lowered down upon Kirin's head.
